We are excited to once again offer our annual Delta cruise. We've got some great destinations and fun on tap and would love to have you come and join us for all or part of TYC's 8 day cruise. Most locations will have clean restrooms and showers, outdoor fun and games, picnic & BBQ areas, and nearby Delta-style dining.
In order to make our cruise more enjoyable for TYC's sailors, we have added a second night at Benicia! Cruise on up with the tide Saturday morning and join us Saturday afternoon as we enjoy all that Benicia has to offer. There is plenty of deep water all the way and in the marina, so why not make it a fun getaway weekend!
We appreciate your patience as we continue to tweak the schedule and venues a bit due to some COVID-related hiccups and challenges.
This year's cruise will visit:
- Benicia YC and Marina - Friday July 23 - Saturday July 24
A beautiful town to visit on our way up to the Delta. We'll stop in to the friendly Benicia Yacht Club Friday night, and can walk into the lovely town for a wide choice of food options. Restrooms, showers, fuel available.
Dock Fee is $1.25/foot/night but we'll be receiving a yacht club cruise-in discounted rate of $27/night.
- Ox Bow Marina - Sunday July 25th
Located on the peaceful Georgiana Slough in the middle of the San Joaquin River Delta, Ox Bow Marina is a sheltered, tropical oasis and full-service marina with 423 covered berths and all the amenities you can imagine. They have heated bathrooms & showers, a swimming pool, BBQs and bikes. Even a
free weekend brunch 'till 11AM! It's also home to Marina West Yacht Club, where we'll pay a visit and see who's about at the bar.
Dock fee is $1.00/foot/night.
Grindstone Joe’s has a long history of being a premier destination for yacht club cruise-ins. Just a short boat ride or 15 minute walk to Tower Park Marina/Yogi Bear KOA. The Marina includes a full restaurant, a convenience store, ice cream, mini golf, a fuel dock and a pump out station.
Amenities include potable water, electrical hookups and on-shore restrooms with showers. The expansive deck is equipped with covered picnic tables, tables and chairs, two large BBQ pits, complimentary charcoal, ice machine, grilling utensils and a sink with soap and wash bins.
Dock fee is $60/boat/night.
- Korth's Pirate Lair - Thursday July 29th
“Garden Spot of the Delta” and has been family-owned since 1937. The marina is located on the confluence of the San Joaquin and Mokelumne Rivers and is nicely sheltered from current and wind (although it can be a bit shallow thereabouts ;-) They have a beautiful 16 acres location which has been developed into a park like setting. Full marina amenities including next-door to Moore's Riverboat, a great place to dine.
Dock fee is $1.00/night
- Benicia or Pittsburg YC - Friday July 30th
We'll decide on this as we get closer to departure time. Either way it'l be a fun stop!
