RACING PROGRAMTYC has an active club racing group, which races seriously and has fun at the same time. We usually enjoy smooth waters off Paradise Cay which makes for a great racing venue. TYC club races are typically comprised of two PHRF handicap fleet divisions. At our bigger events we may also have one-design divisions.
OTHER MEMBERSHIP BENEFITSClubhouse Rental: TYC Members can rent our beautiful clubhouse, with expansive Bay and marina views and a full bar and commercial kitchen, at bargain prices. Reciprocal Privileges: TYC Members enjoy privileges at most yacht clubs in the Bay Area. And many clubs worldwide will welcome you with your current membership card. | CRUISING PROGRAMEvery month TYC sail and power boats head out for San Francisco Bay Area destinations in an organized club cruise. Locations range from nearby yacht clubs, to more distant locations like Benicia, Petaluma, or up the Napa River, to a relaxing week in the Delta. The essence of TYC cruising is to have fun and enjoy the friendship of fellow boaters. Some yacht clubs will host dinners for us. Sometimes we organize pot-luck and restaurant events. Whatever the plan, be prepared for a good time and lots of new adventures. | SOCIAL PROGRAMOur Members enjoy many benefits including Friday Night Dinners year round and at least 15 planned social events each year for both adults and families. These include the famous crab feed, chili cook off, Mardi Gras, club birthday bash, Fourth of July party, Rockin' Country Ribfest, and family Halloween and holiday parties. The club has taken an active role in becoming more family friendly.
FAMILY ACTIVITIESOur child-oriented events include an Easter Egg Hunt and Party, a July 4th Barbecue, and a Holiday Party with Santa arriving by boat.
