Dream Team Dinner, Marine Mammal Center Talk, Gen. Mtg.

Learn about the Marine Mammal Center at the October General Meeting and a dinner by the Dream Team - Melanie Wegner, Christine Miller and Lee Royal.

Located in the Marin Headlands, the Center rescues and rehabilitates injured seals and other mammals along 600 miles of California coast.  Their new Ke Kai Ola center on the Big Island of Hawaii supports the endangered Hawaiian monk seal.

A visit to the center in the Headlands makes a great outing, especially for families.

Our speaker will be Marin native Dr. Jeff Boehm, the center's Executive Director, whose career in animal conservation and degree in veterinary medicine were inspired by his volunteer work at the center back in 1980.
