TYC's annual getaway to kick back and relax upriver in the San Joaquin Delta.
From August 1 - 5 our fleet will join Petaluma YC and Oxbow YC at the lovely Delta Yacht Club, one notch (OK, one island) above Tinsley.
Most boats are leaving Sunday, July 31 and stopping at Pittsburg overnight. See their comments on the registration list for details. Plans for the return vary.
Delta YC is a mini-resort, with a pool, pitch and putt golf course, outdoor barbecues, indoor galley and dining, large screen TV, board and table games, crawdad fishing and eating, lots of island for walking around, and plentiful docking for side ties for everyone.
Plans for the weekends going up and back will depend on the cruisers' choice. Let Marshall know what you'd like.
Tides are favorable going and returning. On the way up, you can ride the flood all the way. Returning, it will be flooding in San Pablo Bay in the afternoon, reducing the chop. See the table below.
